SocialErasmus
SocialErasmus is an initiative which goal is to engage students that take part in the Erasmus+ Program in Poland to act for the local community. The Project enables them not only to meet the academic environment but also to integrate with other social groups by charity work.
Thanks to the SocialErasmus project taking part in the Erasmus+ Program can also be an inspiration for students and enables them to find the true meaning of their lives.

Some children spend a lot of time in hospitals, recovering or fighting for their lives. It’s even more difficult without parents and favorite toys. We have created the Erasmus Hall to add some color to the grey reality.
Our main goal is to create kids-friendly environment in the hospitals, so that they could forget their struggles (even for a moment). We paint halls in the hospitals, organize collections of toys and books that we then give to the children in hospitals.
The idea of the Erasmus Forest was created in 2008 during the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Erasmus Program in Poland. ESN sections celebrated a decade of getting to know other countries, cultures and languages – all that the Erasmus Program is. The Erasmus Forest was a symbol of coming to a new decade of the Program in Poland and the students’ impact on Polish society.
Many international students do not have a chance or financial resources to come back home for Christmas… Because of that the ESN PW section created a project which goal was to support such people. Every year we match international students with their Polish colleagues so that they can spend Christmas together. International guests have the opportunity to get to know our culture and the way we spend these important and beautiful time.
